What’s on my September Wish List?

With a new season on its way, change is inevitable. Change in temperature, surroundings and Fashion. I like to scroll through Pinterest and my favorite stores in search of items that will either kick-start or inspire my Fall closet.

In my previous VLOG, I showed you some of the items I actually Purchased as essentials to my wardrobe, these items are sort of the extension to that.

I have become more aware of the quality in items I purchase and the prospective longevity. It’s important to note that wear-and-tear becomes a major factor in the lifespan of your clothing/shoes/etc. and that there are certain items you should consider spending more money on as opposed to others.

I am a college student and by no means can I afford to buy every $120.00+ jacket I fancy, but I ideally like to focus on finding one or two staple pieces that will carry me throughout the seasons. The same goes for good denim, leather, sweaters, etc.

I’m a re-wear type of gal, and when I like something I am a real big fan. My philosophy on Fashion is that classic never goes out of style. I apply that way of thinking for the majority of my closet, however I still tend to gravitate toward “trendy” items from time to time. Since I have quite a few reliable handbags already, Zara is the perfect place for me to look for a wow-bag that demands attention.

Without further ado, here are some items I would definitely click “add” on to my shopping cart!

  1. The Statement Hat

It’s all about the structure. Don’t opt for the felt options, which tend to bend and flop over time. A high quality hat is worth the money, and will be worn for years to come.

The Fader $89.00 comes in White-Ivory Wool with a band of Tan Genuine Leather and a gold stud detail. (Lack of Color)

2. The Versatile Blazer-Jacket

A touch of masculinity for the boss-woman. Dress it up or dress it down. (I prefer the blazer + denim + sneakers look.)

Checked Double Breasted Jacket $129.00 in Brown. (Zara)

3. The Go-To Crewneck

Wear this sweatshirt under a patterned trench (like the one above) or wear it alone. The choice is yours.

6. The Trendy Handbag

Loud and proud. My kind of handbag.
