Leandra Medine is Fashion’s favorite blogger. With a voice that so truthfully mimics her uncensored being, the thought provoking articles that Man Repeller produces resonates with the young adults of today.

Although sometimes outlandish, she is adored by her readers for her wild-child take on the classic 9AM-5PM. You can spot Medine wearing just about anything that shouts “I make up my own rules!” This working woman is a true Fashion rebel, and for that I can say I am a great fan.

Leandra began her first try at blogging in 2009 after studying abroad while in college. She went through phases of 3 blog names until she finally settled (2010) on the famous “Man Repeller,” of which she referred to in prior articles. Only a few days after its’ debut, MR received the attention of established publications (Refinery29) then began collaborating with Lucky and Harper’s Bazaar.

Medine graduated with a degree in journalism from The New School in 2011, and instead of looking for a job, decided to focus on her blog full-time. It turned out to be a huge success!

Leandra has since collaborated on several limited collections of clothing and accessories with well-established designers. Recently, Medine branched out and designed a line of footwear (MR by Man Repeller) for that is as fun and interesting as she is. Look out for the uber stylish Man Repeller x TopShop as well, MR’s latest clothing collaboration.

MR’s boss lady released a series of humorously raw essays in the form of a book (2013), “Man Repeller. Seeking love. Finding overalls.” I can’t believe I haven’t gotten my hands on it just yet, but believe me when I say that it’s next on the reading agenda!

Take a look at some of my favorite Leandra Medine Fashion moments, below.
